Lynn McCollum started her career with the United States Army in 1994 as a contractor working for the Family Advocacy Program at Fort Detrick, Maryland. Following a move to Europe, Ms. McCollum assumed the Family Advocacy Program Manager position for the Hohenfels community in the 282d Base Support Battalion. She was later promoted to Army Community Service Director for the Vilseck and Grafenwoehr military communities in the 409th Base Support Battalion. Ms. McCollum was promoted in 2003 to Family Advocacy Program Manager for the Installation Management Agency Northwest Region Office, and in 2005 was promoted to Army Community Service Director for Installation Management Command, Europe. In December 2008, Ms. McCollum assumed responsibilities as Director of Family Programs, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command, now Installation Management Command G-9.
Ms. McCollum has a Masters in Social Work Policy, Planning and Administration. She obtained her Masters from Highland University, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Ms. McCollum completed her undergraduate work at Boise State University and is a graduate of Kellogg High School, Kellogg, Idaho.
Ms. McCollum is married to Dr. Robert S. McCollum and they have three grown children and five grandchildren. Bob is employed with the Army Substance Abuse Program at the Installation Management Command Headquarters. They like to travel, enjoy reading and movies and especially time with Family.
